Leopard 2 Hel ocular assembly – Visible Optics
Under a direct contract from RHEINMETALL Defence Electronics, THEON Sensors manufactured the ocular assembly of the Leopard 2 HEL Gunner’s periscope. The ocular assembly relays to the gunner imagery from the periscope’s visible and thermal channels and provides range from the laser range finder and other symbology. A built-in CCD camera transfers the gunner’s picture to the tank commander. All the systems have been delivered to the End User directly by THEON Sensors.

Dual Mount Stringer optical sight – Visible Optics
THEON Sensors has redesigned and manufactures the optical sight for the RAYTHEON Dual Mount Stinger. The optical sight interfaces with the weapon’s fire control system and provides to the user a unity magnification wide field-of-view image of the target along with symbology to aim the launcher and fire the missiles.

AN/TAS – 4A Camera – Thermal Sights
THEON Sensors co-assembles with KOLLSMAN Inc. the AN/TAS-4A thermal sight for the TOW anti-tank launcher. The scope of work includes, apart from the thermal sight, the assembly of the boresight collimator to align the thermal sight with the weapon’s day tracker, the vehicle power conditioner (VPC), the battery power conditioner (BPC) and dedicated field test equipment. The equipment has been delivered to the End User directly after field acceptance test.

Milis Sight – Thermal Sights
THEON Sensors under a contract from SAGEM manufactured, metal parts, wire harnesses, assembled and performed active burn-in and final acceptance test of MILIS (Milan Lightweight Infrared System) thermal sight for the EUROMISSILE MILAN anti-tank weapon. MILIS, a member of the SAGEM MATIS family, is a generation III afocal thermal sight that clips on the day sight of the Milan weapon to provide night vision and through-obscurants firing capability.
