New Wing Inauguration (10/12/2004)

Sensors expanded its facilities to
a new wing for an area of 600 sq. metres which
doubles the assembly and production area.
The increase in production, coupled with the
introduction of new products, made the expansion
necessary. The inauguration ceremony took
place on 9 December 2004 and was attended
by a delegation of Hellenic Ministry of Defence
headed by the Deputy Defence Minister, Vassilios
Michaloliakos, foreign Defence Attaches and
other customers and company representatives.
Theon Sensors
CEO, Christian Hadjiminas, said every year
the company has doubled its sales which now
stand at 12 million euros and is targeting
20 million in 2005-2006, hoping to bring exports
up to 50 percent from its present 30 percent.
During the tour, the Deputy Minister symbolically
packaged on of the last night driver's viewers
destined to Australia for the M113AS upgrade
programme.
