Night Vision Event Italy (11/01/2005)

Sensors participated in the exhibition
of night vision equipment organized by the
Italian Ministry of Defence. The event took
place on 11 January 2005 in the Centro Polifunzionale
dui Sperimentazione (CEPOLISE) in Montelibretti
near Rome. The programme included static exhibition
of the night vision equipment and field demonstration
during the evening. The event was attended
by the Chief of the Italian Army and officers
of all branches of the Italian Defence Forces
as well the branches of the Security forces.
Theon Sensors
displayed two of its products: The night driver
viewer for the PzH 2000 howitzer since there
is interest in Italy who is to receive 70
vehicles and the clip-on nigh sight.
Both units were tested during the night and
performed with excellent results.
