Theon Sensors participated for the first time at IQDEX exhibition, one of the leading defence exhibitions in the MENA region. IQDEX was held  from 05-07 March 2017 in Baghdad, Iraq. Theon's products were received with great interest and excitement by the distinguished guests who visited our booth.

The Fifth Edition of the International Defence Exhibition in Iraq (IQDEX) took place in Baghdad (5th – 8th March), under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. 58 foreign companies from 21 countries participated in the exihibition, in addition to 56 local Iraqi companies. This year approximately 3000 people visited the exhibition.


THEON SENSORS marked their first official presence in Iraq by having their own booth; in addition to being the only Greek company present, plus one of the few dedicated Electro-optics companies; which captured the interest of the visitors and the Iraqi Armed Forces delegations visiting the Exhibition. Futhermore, THEON SENSORS was honoured with a visit by the Iraq's Minister of Interior Mr. Qasim Mohammad Jalal Al-Araji, who expressed the country's interest in such products and took the time to go through the different Night Vision and Thermal systems we had at display.


THEON SENSORS showcased their head/helmet mounted Dedicated Binoculars (NYX) and Monocular (ARGUS), in addition to their Newly launched Thermal Weapon Sight (THERMIS) and their long time best seller Night Vision Weapon Sight (ARTEMIS).
