THEON Sensors was awarded an order from the Hellenic Navy Special Forces for its newest version Modular Night Vision Monocular, model NX-122A.

The NX-122A monocular is a full military specification, unity magnification, 40-degree field of view night vision system, capable of being hand held, mounted to a small arms Picatinny mounting rail, or mounted to a head mount or a helmet mount.

The product and in particular the optical parameters of the NX-122A have been designed in-house by the Theon Sensors Design & Development Team after a comprehensive market research of today’s available products and product features.

The result is a state-of-the-art monocular sight with superior optical performance and very advanced and well thought through product features involving light weight head and helmet mount assemblies. This advanced design further allows full system adjustment in 4 degrees of freedom while preserving the robustness and strength of the assembly.

The weapon mount adaptor allows the system to be attached to a Picatinny rail and has been designed to provide best ergonomy features for the majority of today’s weapon platforms.

The NX-122A is designed to function under harsh environmental conditions according to full military specification making the NX-122A one of the best and lightest monoculars available in the market.
