FMV Contract Award
Theon Sensors receives contract for its Modular Night Vision Monocular from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV)
On 29th November 2010, Theon Sensors was awarded an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration FMV for its newest version of the Modular Night Vision Monocular – model NX-122 – following an international competition against 11 global Night Vision companies.
The contract is for an initial quantity of 160 systems. Pursuant to the contract, FMV has options to procure significantly larger quantities of systems.
The NX-122 monocular is a full military specification, unity magnification, 40-degree field of view night vision system, capable of being hand held, mounted to a small arms Picatinny mounting rail, or mounted to a head mount or a helmet mount.
